In the new book I'm reading called "Tweaked" written by Katherine Holubitsky, I think the main character Gordie Jessup is a good example for a hero becasue her brother, Chase Jessup, is addicted to crystal meth for two years. He would steal from his family to be able to buy his drugs.
Why I think Gordie's a hero is becasue she is trying to help her brother by guiving Chase money so he could pay his drug dealers the money he ows them so he wouldn't get hurt.
She is also strong and not breaking down a crying about how hard her life is when her brother would steal anything she had that could be sold for a few dollars.
She is also persistent by telling her brother he has to stop doing drugs or its going to kill him and she's not going to stop helping him until he is cured of his addiction of crystal meth.
